Cruisers back to normal as playoffs start

The Eatonville Cruisers will face North Kitsap this Friday in the 2A high school district football playoffs, an occasion that also marks a return to normal game scheduling.

To determine their seeding in the playoffs, the Cruisers played three games in nine days, culminating in a 34-6 loss last Saturday in Buckley against White River. Caden Jumper’s 1-yard touchdown run in the first quarter gave Eatonville a 6-6 tie with the Hornets. After that, it was all White River.

Now Eatonville can focus on the 2A playoffs and North Kitsap, which dominated the Olympic League by going undefeated during the regular season.
