Eatonville scored 20 unanswered points in the third period to break open the contest and went on to wallop Clover Park 57-13 in a 2A South Puget Sound League high school football game in Lakewood.
After last Friday's romp, the Cruisers are undefeated after the first three games of the season, averaging 51 points per game to their opponents' 8, and tied for the lead in the Sound Division of the SPSL.
Only one team will lead the division after Eatonville hosts Steilacoom this Friday at 7 p.m. in the showdown of co-leaders. Both are 2-0 in the SPSL. Steilacoom is 2-1 overall.
Against Clover Park, Eatonville running backs Caden Jumper and Alex Brymer both scored four touchdowns. Brymer also finished with 106 yards of rushing, 10 more than Jumper.
Quarterback Tristan Schoepf completed 14 of 18 passes for 217 yards for the Cruisers, who led 23-13 at halftime before ending any suspense in the third quarter.
