Samantha Swartout, a senior on Eatonville High School’s girls basketball team, was named by the of 2A South Puget Sound League as its Co-Most Valuable Player for the 2017-18 campaign.
Swartout shared the honor with Mahrysa Thomas of Renton.
Three of Swartout's Eatonville teammates also received league recognition. Jaelin Hotz, a junior, was named to the All-SPSL second team, while Brooklyn Lucht and Peyton Hutchings were selected for honorable mention.
