The 2018-2019 Eatonville High School cheer team attended the UCA Cheer camp at the University of Puget Sound June 27-30.
The team did a great job while there, earning the most improved award along with receiving 3 spirit sticks. Keeping up with tradition that twins Abby and Mackenzie Rodewald set last year by being named All-American cheerleaders, this year’s twins — Kiley & Laela Stalkfleet — were named to the UCA All-American team. They were both also asked to join the UCA cheer staff.
Part of being named an All-American is a trip to London to perform in the New Year’s Day parade. They will be leaving the day after Christmas on their exciting journey. Cheer has been a big part of their lives since the age of 7 and this is a dream come true for them both.
Due to the huge cost for this opportunity, there has been a GoFundMe page setup to help raise money to cover the costs of this once in a lifetime experience for the twins. Any amount large or small will be greatly appreciated. Visit www.gofundme.com/help-send-kiley-amp-laela-to-london to make a donation.
