James Lee “Jim” Collins. November 7, 1943 – May 22, 2018

James Lee “Jim” Collins, 74, passed away at home on the evening of May 22, 2018.  He was looking forward to heaven and being reunited with his beloved wife, Joan.  Born on November 7, 1943 In Eatonville, Washington, Jim was a lifelong resident.

Jim met Mary Joan Clark, his beloved wife of 44 years, in Virginia while he was serving in the Army.  They spent their first years of marriage stationed in Germany, which they enjoyed.  After his discharge, they moved back to the Eatonville area to raise their family.

He served people as he served his Lord, wholeheartedly.  He will be missed

by many.

He lost many other relatives and closely held friends before his own passing.   He is survived by his children, Heidi Patrick (Mark) of Castle Rock, Steve Collins (Heidi) of Eatonville, Jonathan Collins (Cathy) of Eatonville, his brother Richard Collins (Maureen), and two sisters Mary Ann Wicks (Bill), and Georgia Farris, as well as 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.   His family was his joy, and they will miss him greatly.
