Patricia Lou McHatton was born on June 2, 1947. She joined he mother and numerous other loved ones on July 20, 2018.
Her fondness and connection with St. Francis would shine through with her readiness to lend a hand, shoulder, ear or heart. Always wanting to shelter and protect those that otherwise may struggle. Especially true for any stray that would land on our porch, 4 legged or 2, she would try and find what they may need.
Strong and steadfast in her intuition and beliefs. That spirit, along with her sense of wanting to help, led her to a life of work that carried over with those traits. So many areas, therapist, counselor, mental health, and retiring from hospice/home health. Giving.
Her respite was her garden, from soil to bloom. Unknowingly creating a micro sanctuary for all the wild life that would visit and say hello. On occasion feeling enough trust allowing themselves to be hand fed, feathered or furry. Barefooted and a cup of coffee, the simple things for her ...often the best and most
appreciated.
Survived by her loving husband, Bill; her loving son, Daniel “BUB”, Bill’s five children, Todd, Tony, Ami, Ashley, Jake plus eight grand children, All whom she loved.
Her sisters of life, some of 40+ years- Lois, Debbie, Jan, and Athene, she loved you all. So many times you made her life better, maybe not known although true.
So many roles played and filled to so many lives, if all the world is truly a stage and we are merely players, she then took center stage. So many lessons taught maybe not ever knowing the reason for them at the time, but knowing they will be apparent when the time came.
Always with us in spirit, memories, heart and with what she left behind and NEVER forgotten. May the lessons and love she taught us, with or without words be cherished, remembered, carried forward and honored. Stop, look, listen, and she will be felt.
Forever loved you are and always will be.
