Jewell O. Nelson

Praise God that He shared Jewell with us for 86 years!

     Born in Mudfork, VA to Bernard and Stella Hill on October 4, 1932, the 4th of 7 children. She was glorified at home in Eatonville WA on January 25, 2019.

     Jewell  is survived by two sisters, Doris and Opal of Newport, TN and two sons, Steve (Janette) and Mark of Eatonville, WA and a much loved caretaker, Tina Simpson. Also missing her are 5 grandchildren and 8 greats. She was preceded in death by her husband of of over 50 years, Frank in 2004 and her daughter, Debra in 2016.

     Living in Eatonville for 59 years, she was very active in Eatonville Baptist Church, Ohop and Pierce County Granges, Lady Lions, Relay for Life and Northwest Trek.

     Memorial Service will be held at Eatonville Baptist Church at 1:00 p.m. on March 2, 2019.

     The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to American Cancer Society-Relay for Life or Eatonville Baptist Church.
