Quilt raffle raises $242 for Eatonville Family Agency

A quilt raffle raised $242.00 for the Eatonville Family Agency for their food bank during the weeks leading up to Independence Day,

The Louttit Pay It Forward Club of Eatonville held a raffle during the month of June for a club-designed, handmade denim quilt titled “Denim Blues.”

The drawing was held on July 5 at the Center Street Junction in Eatonville. The winner is from Eatonville and wishes to remain anonymous. 

To all who purchased tickets, the club is extremely grateful for your participation and thoughtfulness to help aid Eatonville Family Agency food bank. The club wishes to thank all the local businesses for advertising and selling raffle tickets during June and the Eatonville Dispatch newspaper for the articles acquainting the community of Eatonville Family Agency services. 

The club issued a very special ‘thank you’ to Diane Wisley, owner of PostNet, who designed the raffle posters. More than 25 local businesses were genuinely good-hearted to display the posters for the quilt raffle fundraiser.

The Louttit Pay It Forward Club was established in 2013 as a non-profit fundraising group to help support the Eatonville Family Agency holiday baskets for families in need in our community. They have since had fundraisers during other dates of each year. Talented members range from 8 to 75 years of age.

The club’s mission has continued to give back to the community because we have utilized the Eatonville Family Agency services in our times of need. 
The club has always given 100 percent of the proceeds and donations received from craft sales, and this month’s first quilt raffle, to the Eatonville Family Agency to help supply foods on the shelves in the food bank.
