Lady Cruiser soccer has great week

After suffering 3 losses in week 2 of the season, the Lady Cruiser soccer team got back on track last week.

On Monday they took on the Rochester Warriors in a non-league match. They would take the win 4-1 behind goals from Hannah Johnson and Halle Noel. Johnson would record her first hat trick of the season with 3 goals in one game.

The Cruisers were scheduled to take on the Evergreen Wolverines, but the game would be cancelled due to a forfeit from the Wolverines.

Thursday would bring a match up with the Washington Patriots. The Cruisers would pick up their third win of the week and fourth of the season by a score of 4-2. Halle Noel would score 2 goals for the Cruisers while Hannah Johnson and Kya Stewart would each add a goal.

The Lady Cruisers sit at 4-3-1 overall and 2-1-1 in league play which puts them tied for second with Orting.

The Cruisers will have a short week next week with only two  matches scheduled. On Tuesday they will travel to Highline Memorial Stadium in Burien to take on the Highline Pirates. The match will kick off at 7 p.m. They will follow that up with a Thursday meeting with River Ridge at Eatonville Middle School. That match will kick off at 3:30 p.m.
