After losing 3 matches the previous week, the Eatonville High School boys tennis team looked to turn things around when they traveled to Graham-Kapowsin HS on Monday to take on the Eagles.
The Cruisers would ground the Eagles by a score of 3-2. Picking up wins for Eatonville would be the No. 1 doubles team of Alex Mitchell/Quade Richards, No. 2 doubles Brandon Baker/Austin Frink, and No. 3 doubles Ladd Wikander/Justin Hietpas.
They would look to keep things going the following day when they played host to another group of Eagles. This time it was the first place Lindbergh Eagles.
The Cruisers would be no match for the 8-1 Eagles as they drop the meeting 5 matches to 0.
The Cruisers match against Highline was rained out and will be made up on Wednesday, Oct. 9.
Looking ahead for the Cruisers, they will host the Foss Falcons on Tuesday before travelling to Highline on Wednesday and Foster on Thursday.
