Cruiser Soccer Falls To Wolverines, Take Down Cardinals

On Tuesday last week, the Lady Cruisers took on the league leading White River Wolverines in a league contest.

The Wolverines would pull out to a 3-0 lead at the half.

The Cruisers would fight back late in the game on goals by Hannah Johnson and Halle Noel. They wopuld have a couple of tying opportunities but just could get the ball to get in the net.

The Wolverines would take the win, 3-2.

On Thursday, the Cruisers would take on the Franklin Pierce Cardinals and look to avenge the 3-1 loss they had against them earlier in the season.

The Cruisers would find the back of the net 5 times in the game and take the win, 5-2.

Halle Noel and Hannah Johnson would have a big game for the Cruisers with 2 goals each. Hailey Rath would also chip in a goal as well.

The Cruisers record now sits at 5-2-3 in league play (7-4-3 overall) and sit in 3^rd place.

The Cruisers will have two games this week to end out regular season play.

On Tuesday, they will play at home against Fife at 7:00 pm and will finish out the week on Wednesday by travelling to Parkland to take on the Washington Patriots at Franklin Pierce Stadium. Kick is at 7:00 pm.
