Anna Lee Swinford, born Feb. 17, 1924 in Harriman, TN, died Oct. 13, 2013 in Monroe, WA.
Anna is survived by her daughter, Mary Ferguson-Pierce (David G. Pierce) of Monroe; brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Kay Swinford of Sun City, AZ; grandchildren, Erin Groves (Rbrt) of Jerome, ID, Daniel Pitchford of OR, and Sarah Robinson (Brian) of Lake Stevens; great-grandchildren, Shae, Logan, and Gavin Groves of Jerome, ID, and Saysha Pitchford of Tillamook, OR.
Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence W. Swinford; daughters, Jan Bollinger and Holly Robinson; her brothers, Robert, Karl, and Paulus Lee and sisters, Jessie Lee, Jimmie Newcomb, and Katherine Sanders.
Anna and Lawrence moved to Monroe from Yuma, AZ in December, 2003 to live with their daughter, Mary, because of ill health. Anna had to go into Regency Care Center at Monroe in June 2004 where she lived until her death. The family would like to thank the staff at Regency for all the wonderful care she has received these past nine+ years.
Anna was a very special person and will be greatly missed. Rest in peace. You are so loved.
