April Lee Boyce Johnson May 8, 1947 - July 30, 2016

April Lee Boyce Johnson, age 69, of Monroe WA, went home to be with her Lord peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, July 30, 2016.-á April was born on May 8, 1947 in Snoqualmie, WA to Donald Edwin and Alida (Greenfield) Boyce. She grew up in Carnation and Gold Bar WA, married Clinton Howard Johnson on June 5, 1965 and lived the last 45 years in Snohomish and Monroe WA. She leaves behind daughters, Loretta Longsine (Christopher) and Debra Johnson; Longsine grandkids T.J., Alecia, Jaelyn Sando (Jacob), Haylee, Hannah, Samantha and Benjamin; brothers, Roy (Paulette) Seymour, Ron (Lori) Boyce, Wayne (Marie) Boyce and James Boyce; sisters, Donna (Oly) Eriksen, Nancy (Jeff) Herman, Darlene Courser, Dollie Boyce and Donna Kaylor; best friend and sister-in-law Jennifer (Johnson) Taylor. April was preceded in death by her husband, Clinton Johnson; parents Donald and Alida Boyce; and brother Donnie Boyce. This incredible little lady was first and foremost a lover of Jesus and took great joy and delight in being a wife, mama, grammie, sister and friend. She was known for her kindness, generosity and SWEET spirit.-á April greatly loved being a part of her church family, Christ Church Monroe, for many years and she was always available to help and serve anyone in anyway. Her exuberant love of nature was a delight to watch and sometimes contagious. She enjoyed her garden and flowers and her birds and butterflies. Even in her last year of life, when her physical challenges increased greatly, she faced each day with a spirit of gratitude, always thankful and grateful to those around her and for her life.-á April will be extremely missed by us all. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Sunday, August 28, 2016 at 2pm at Christ Church Monroe (Monroe 7th Day Adventist facility), 14118 Chain Lake Rd., Monroe, WA 98272.
