Bernadette Pajer to unveil new mystery novel Oct. 4

On Saturday, October 4, from 7-9 p.m., local author Bernadette Pajer will be signing copies of her new book "The Edison Effect" at Main Street Books at 110 E. Main St., Monroe.
Copies of the book and light refreshments will be available.
This is the fourth Professor Bradshaw Mystery. The first three titles in the series were "A Spark of Death," "Fatal Induction," and "Capacity for Murder." All four are published by Poisoned Pen Press, and have received a Seal of Approval from the Washington Academy of Sciences for scientific accuracy.
Pajer is a University of Washington graduate, and a proud member of Mystery Writers of America; Sisters in Crime; Northwest Science Writers; the Washington Academy of Sciences; and the Seattle7Writers. Research is her favorite activity, and she happily delves into Pacific Northwest history and the early days of electrical invention as she plots Professor Bradshaw's investigations. She lives in Monroe with her husband and son.
