Calvin H. Willson went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 14th, 2015. -áHe passed away at home, snug in his own bed, surrounded by his family. -áCal leaves behind his wife Becky, his sons William Willson and C.J. Morris III (Shawna), his sister Ada Roberts (Norm), his brand new grandson Joey, and many other family members and dear friends. Cal was born on June 1, 1939, in Raymond, Washington to Emma and Calvin Willson. -áHe grew up in and around the Tacoma area. -áAt 17, he joined the Air Force. -áCal spent his career working in telephony. -áIn 1992, he retired from GTE. -áCal and Becky have lived in Monroe, WA for the past 27 years. Cal was a technician and gardener at heart. -áHe could fix and grow anything. -áHe always had a cup of coffee in his hand. -áCal spent his retirement spoiling his wife, panning for gold, fishing, gardening, bowling, and loving his family and friends. He will be dearly missed. A celebration of Cal's life will be held on Monday, June 1, 2015, at 3pm at Purdy & Kerr with Dawson Funeral Home, 409 W. Main St., Monroe, WA, 98272.Calvin H. Willson
