The Snoqualimie Valley Transportation Coalition will start providing a loop route between Monroe and Duvall on Aug. 1, with each loop lasting about 90 minutes.
A project of the Mt. Si Senior Center, Snoqualmie Valley Transportation has operated in the region since 2003.
The Duvall-Monroe Shuttle will have several regular stops in Monroe and one in Duvall, according to a news release, and there is a suggested donation of $1 per trip.
The current schedule is 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays, but that could be adjusted depending on the success of the loop.
This is one of the first projects of Snoqualmie Valley Transportation Coalition, which includes Hopelink, SVT, Easterseals, King County Metro Transit’s Community Access Transportation program, the Snoqualmie Tribe and the cities of Monroe, Duvall, Carnation, Snoqualmie and North Bend.
