The Snohomish County Public Utility District is seeking applications from local organizations wanting to install solar energy demonstration projects on new or existing buildings in the PUD's service area.
"With our customers' support, Planet Power has funded 32 local solar projects, which help the community learn more about this energy source,GÇ¥ said PUD CEO and general manager Craig Collar in a news release. "These solar installations are part of our commitment to development of local renewable energy sources right here in Western Washington.GÇ¥

Proposals must be made to the PUD by May 6. The PUD expects projects to be installed in late summer and fall.
