ECSC garage sale and pancake breakfast this weekend

By Holly Glen Gearhart
The East County Senior Center will hold a two-day, community-wide garage sale this Friday and Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
You can rent a space or a table for one or both days. Bring items to sell that you no longer want, and find treasures you didn't know you wanted!
Booth space cost $15 per day or $20 for both Friday and Saturday; and you can rent a 7'x2' table for $7. Registration forms are available at the East County Senior Center at 276 Sky River Parkway.
This is an annual event hosted by the ECSC and has a history of drawing large crowds, especially Fridays as there are many activities held at the center.
The monthly Saturday pancake breakfast will be on the same Saturday as the garage sale, from 8 to 10:30 a.m. While you shop the sale, dine on pancakes, eggs, ham, sausage, coffee, milk and juice. The cost for adults is $5 and children under 12 are $3. Profit from the breakfasts are used for the general fund of the center. The pancake breakfast is a 36-year tradition here in the Valley.
The garage sale is held outdoors, come rain or shine GÇô come out and see what you can find.
No reservations are needed; just bring your appetite for special garage sale treasures, as well as home cooked pancakes.
