The Monroe Concert band presents "The Rhythm of ChristmasGÇ¥ on Thursday, Dec. 18 at 7 p.m. at the Wagner Performing Arts Center, 639 W. Main St. in Monroe.
This free family-friendly concert will combine traditional and nontraditional holiday music. Donations will be accepted for the Monroe Cold Weather Shelter.
The band will also be collecting a few select items requested by the Cold Weather Shelter and are asking audience members to gather men's and women's socks, new or gently-used scarves, hats, gloves, as well as hand and foot warmers.
