The Monroe Concert Band wants to entertain the community and help out some of its families in need.
They will present their Christmas Concert on Thursday, Dec.19 at 7 p.m. at the Wagner Performing Arts Center, 639 W. Main St. in Monroe.
Nonperishable food, unwrapped new toys for kids, and gift cards for older kids will be collected at the concert. All donations will benefit Matthew House, a non-profit that assists families of those who are incarcerated.
This concert is free and family-friendly.
