Flashback: Monroe Ladies' Bowling Teams, 1941

The bowling teams represented are White Spot, Sprau's Ice Cream, County Hospital, and Rainbow Tavern. Joe Quaranta identified the location as Duck Pin Bowling, which was next to the White Spot on Main Street in downtown Monroe. It was a four-lane bowling alley that used smaller balls and pins than normal. Front row, third from left is Anna Jane Scharf. Behind her in the dark coat is Lena Quaranta. Front row, fourth from the left, is Lala Riley.
