Senior Services of Snohomish County is presenting a free workshop on managing chronic conditions. The "Living Well with-áChronic Conditions"-áworkshop will be offered at the East County-áSenior Center beginning October 31.
The six-week series will be held on Thursdays, Oct.-á31 - Dec.-á12 (no class on Nov. 28) and will emphasize critical skills needed to live a full life with chronic conditions. Some covered topics include managing your chronic condition(s), increasing movement, creating a healthy menu, stress management, medication management, working with health care professionals, problem solving and setting achievable goals.
Past participants of the workshop have reported increased physical activity, more social interactions and a better outlook on life.
