Former Park Place PTSA treasurer in more trouble

She was arrested by Monroe police in January for allegedly stealing over $13,226 from the Park Place Middle School Parent, Teacher, Student Association (PTSA), and now it appears as though the PTSA may not have been Jeannine Hall's only reported victim.

Hall, 44, was arrested by Snohomish County Sheriff's detectives on Thursday, March 10, on suspicion of theft in the first degree. According to police documents, Hall served as the treasurer for a Stanwood nonprofit organization called Stillaguamish Valley Horsemen (SVH) from October 2013 through January 2016, during which she allegedly altered pin codes at the bank to ensure she would be the only person with access to the accounts.

According to police documents, Hall made several unauthorized and unapproved ATM withdrawals at the Tulalip Casino, totaling $8,782.50. The club is missing a total of $19,525.19, documents state.

Detectives attempted to make contact with Hall at her Monroe residence on Feb. 11, but according to police documents, Hall refused to come to the door. When the investigation was picked back up on March 9, detectives learned Hall had moved to the Lake Stevens area.

According to police documents, detectives located her Lake Stevens residence on March 10, and made contact with family members at the home who informed them that Hall was at work in Everett. They contacted her on the phone and informed her they needed to arrange a meeting.

Hall expressed concern over whether she would be arrested, documents state, becoming audibly upset on the phone.

Initially, she agreed to meet with detectives after work, but instead, Hall's attorney phoned one of the detectives about an hour later and stated in a message that Hall wouldn't be answering questions. At approximately 2 p.m., Snohomish County Sheriff's Office detectives responded to her place of work and placed her under arrest.

Hall was transported to the Snohomish County Jail by the Everett Police Department without incident. Charges in both cases are still pending.
