Monroe shooting, robbery suspect caught in Bellevue

A man wanted in connection to the Sept. 18 beating and shooting of a Monroe man was arrested Friday in Bellevue after allegedly attempting to use a stolen credit card at Nordstrom.

Jordan Jensen-Green was one of two men still being sought by the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office as part of its investigation into the September attack on a 38-year-old Monroe man in a building on Florence Acres Road. Two other suspects ' Michael R. Bruce, 49, of Woodinville, and Troy A. Russ, 33, of Mountlake Terrace, were arrested in Mountlake Terrace on Sept. 23.

Bellevue Police report Jensen-Green, 31, attempted to use a stolen credit card Friday at the Bellevue Square Nordstrom and was stopped by loss prevention officers. A mobile fingerprint identification device was used by Bellevue officers, identifying the suspect and the $2 million arrest warrant out of Snohomish County.

Christopher Cardinale, 53, is the remaining suspect at large.

The victim of the Sept. 18 attack suffered a fractured skull and shot to the groin, and he remains hospitalized at Providence Medical Center in Everett. According to police documents, the victim was with friends in an upstairs apartment next to a metal shop in the 24000 block of Florence Acres Road when the suspects banged on the shop doors, causing the victim to go downstairs.

According to police documents, the property where the victim was found is known to deputies as being associated with illegal activities related to drugs and stolen automobiles.

Three of the suspects reportedly entered the shop and attacked the victim, and later a masked gunman went upstairs and robbed several witnesses of their cellphones and backpacks.

Neither the witnesses nor the suspects were clear as to how or when the victim sustained the gunshot wound to the groin, but one suspect confirmed one of his accomplices fired a warning shot as they fled the scene in both their vehicle and the victim's. When they arrived at the property, the Russ allegedly told investigators one of the co-conspirators used a "stick, pipe or batGÇ¥ to assault the victim's head and body.
