Fred Meyer in Monroe will host a pumpkin patch for special needs children on Saturday, Oct. 18, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the store's outdoor garden center.
The wheelchair-accessible event will include pumpkin decorating, face painting, a coloring booth, free cookies and cider, and discounted rates for photo opportunities and pumpkins.
Although the event is created with special needs children in mind, all children are invited.
