Helen Phyllis Jackman Beard, 85, of Monroe, died February 12, 2014, peacefully at home with her family. Helen was born on March 30, 1928 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Helen moved to Washington in 1942 with her family. She will always be remembered as "Horrible Helen!GÇ¥ as she used to say! But everyone else knew her as Grandmas Helen! She loved to make people laugh and she was always there to listen! She was a strong and godly woman and a great mother!! She will be deeply missed! Helen loved bingo, children and her family gatherings! Helen was preceded in death by her loving husband, Tom Beard. She is survived by Peter Jackman/Kerry Kehm, Gary Jackman, Roy/Cindy Jackman and Jamie/Andy Booth; grandchildren Jason Hall, Chris Snavely, Jacob/Rachel Jackman, Stacey Jackman and Clayton Booth; great-grandchild Clare Jackman and siblings Deloris Scott and Lois LeMoine. Helen's Celebration of Life will be held on March 1, 2014 from 1-3 p.m. at the Friendship House, 701 W. Elizabeth St., Monroe, WA in the blue building. jackman
