James A. Bloor, born to Harry and Vada Bloor on February 18, 1937 in Monroe, WA, passed away on May 29, 2014 in Edmonds, WA.
James graduated from Monroe High School, Class of 1955 and earned his masters degree in electrical engineering. His career at Kennedy Space Center included the Apollo 15 team. Residing in Florida for 25 years, he enjoyed ham radio operation, photography, model trains, piloting small planes, cycling, running marathons, sailing catamarans and keeping tropical fish.
James is survived by his siblings, Marilyn Easterly (Paul) of Oregon, Dennis Bloor (Linda) of Kirkland, Craig Bloor (Kimberly) of California, and Christie Kalbrener (John) of North Bend; sister-in-law Sandra Bloor of Monroe and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by both of his parents; his sister, Judith Couch and brothers Harry Leroy Bloor and Randall Bloor.
