Kristiansen sponsors two Sky Valley Education Center students to be pages in Olympia

By Brandon Macz

Sky Valley Education Center students Dominik Cahill and Rafe Dahlinger recently served as pages in the Washington House of Representatives under the sponsorship of Snohomish Rep. Dan Kristiansen.

Cahill and Dahlinger spent a week in Legislative Page School during the day, and also delivered messages and documents to legislators.

Cahill’s hobbies include martial arts, public speaking and dance, according to a news release from Kristiansen’s office, while Dahlinger enjoys dancing, the beach, working on the farm and riding horses.

Dahlinger, 14, is the son of Rodney and Gina Dahlinger. Cahill, 16, is the son of Conrad and Irene Cahill. Both families reside in Monroe.

Teens 14-16 that are interested in becoming a page must have a legislative sponsor to apply, as well as written permission from their parents and school.
