Large crowd walks against epilepsy

Walking teams gather before the start of the Monroe Epilepsy Walk on Saturday, June 21, at Sky River Park in Monroe. The event was organized by Kerri Arrellano, a Monroe mom of a boy, 3, who has struggled with severe epilepsy since he was an infant.

Team Keely raises top funds

Linda Drechlser, center in the chair, from Monroe, and Team Keely head out on the Epilepsy Walk.-áLinda and her team were the top fundraisers at the start of the event. The name of the team is to remember Linda's niece, Keely, who died from complications of epilsey.
