A 32 year old female from Monroe was arrested and booked into the Snohomish County jail for 2nd degree assault with a weapon after she allegedly shot a man with whom she is believed to be in a relationship.
At approximately 10 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 25, a call came into the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office of a disturbance at the 26000 block of Old Pipeline Road in unincorporated Snohomish County, approximately nine miles northeast of Monroe.
The victim, a male in his 30s, was transported to a nearby hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg. His injuries are not considered life-threatening.
The incident is still under investigation.
