Mast ascends to Eagle Scout rank

Jacob Mast received his Eagle Scout rank on Dec. 8, upon completing his board of review. Given the time it takes for all the paperwork to go through and set up his court of honor, his family didn't hold his ceremony until Jan. 30.

Mast ascended the ranks, transitioning from Life Scout to Eagle Scout following completion of his service project, which was to replace worn out tables and benches at Delano Bay Christian Camp. To do that, he had to raise roughly $2,500. He completed his project in October, putting in around 300 service hours.

Mast is also a three-year football letterman and four-year wrestling letterman at Monroe High School.
