On Saturday, August 10, Snohomish County resident dogs and cats brought to the City of Everett Mutt Strut at Langus Park between 10-áa.m. and noon can receive a free microchip. Up to 200 free microchips will be offered at this event. Langus Park is located at 400 Smith Island Rd., across from the Everett Animal Shelter.
This program is available to all Snohomish County residents.
Cats must be in a carrier and dogs must be on a leash.
The cost of the microchips is funded by the County's Animal Benefit Bequest Fund. The fund was established in 1999 to support programs, activities, equipment and/or facilities for the benefit of animals in Snohomish County. Resources for this fund are gathered from donations, gifts, and bequests by persons, businesses, and organizations. Your donation is welcome to help continue this free program.
