Mildred Nita Jackson, age 89, of Everett, Washington, passed away on
January 9, 2016. She was born in Rugby, North Dakota to the late Mabel Malouf and Frank Munyer on November 18, 1926. Millie grew up in Sacramento, California, where she met and married Carl Jackson on July 29, 1946 in Ormsby County, Nevada. They moved to Oregon, where they had four children. In 1967 they moved from Oregon to Washington, eventually settling down in Monroe, WA. Mildred and Carl divorced in 1985. Millie enjoyed dancing, bowling, playing cards, visiting with friends, and the more-then-occasional shopping trip. Mildred worked as a dry cleaner for over 20 years before retiring. Millie is survived by her children Gaynetta Kozelisky, Harold Jackson, and Debbie Reef. She was preceded in death by her son, Curtis Jackson in 2014 and her ex-husband, Carl in 2006. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Best Western, 19233 State Rte. 2, Monroe, WA, 98272.
