Children's Programs:
Ready Readers, Baby and Me Storytime: Tuesdays, Nov. 5, 12, 19 and 26, 10:30 a.m. Stories, songs, rhymes, and activities that inspire a love of reading. Playtime follows. For newborns through 18 months. Caregiver required.
Ready Readers, Toddler Storytime: Wednesdays, Nov. 6, 13, 20 and 27, 10 a.m. AND 11 a.m. Stories, music and movements that nurture the desire to read in toddlers. Playtime or craft may follow. For ages 18 months to 3 years. Caregiver required.
Ready Readers, Preschool Storytime: Thursdays, Nov. 7, 14 and 21, 10 a.m. Books, sing-along songs, and creative activities that prepare young minds for reading. For ages 3-5.
Ready Readers, Preschool Storytime (Bilingual): Thursdays, Nov. 7, 14 and 21, 11 a.m. Books, sing-along songs, and creative activities that prepare young minds for reading. For ages 3-5. Presented in English and Spanish.
Reading with Rover: Saturday, Nov. 23, 11 a.m. The Reading with Rover program is designed to help kids strengthen reading skills and improve reading confidence.
Teen Programs:
Monroe Library Teen Advisory Board: Tuesday, Nov. 5, 3:30 p.m.
Meet Lindsay, the new teen librarian, enjoy some snacks, and share ideas for library programs, purchases and improvements.
Junior Monroe Wednesday Writers: Wednesday, Nov. 6, 4:30 p.m. Support and guidance for teen writers, led by published author Bernadette Pajer and Teen Librarian Lindsay Hanson. All writers in grades 6-12 are welcome.
Junior Monroe Wednesday Writers, Special NANOWRIMO Edition:-áWednesday, Nov. 20, 3 p.m. This week's meeting is a special National Novel Writing Month edition. The group will meet for an hour and a half longer than normal. Bring a notebook or laptop. Snacks will be provided.
Duct Tape Crafts: Tuesday, Nov. 26, 3:30 p.m. Create duct tape crafts including wallets and flowers. Also, learn about library resources that can help your creative sparks grow.
Adult Programs:
Wednesday Writers: Wednesdays, Nov. 6, 13, 20 and 27, 7 p.m. Weekly support and writing guidance, by published author Bernadette Pajer. All writers welcome, fiction and non-fiction.
Monroe Book Group, "A Secret Kept:GÇ¥ Tuesday, Nov. 12, 7 p.m. This month's book selection is "A Secret KeptGÇ¥ by Tatiana de Rosnay. Copies are available for checkout at the Customer Service Desk.
Friends of the Monroe Library: Tuesday, Nov. 19, 7 p.m. Guests and new members are always welcome. The Friends help raise funds for library programs for children, teens, and adults.

Lego-« Club GÇô Saturday, Nov. 2, noon. Learn and play with Lego-«. Individual projects, cooperative play and free exploration. For ages 5-12.
Ready Readers, Preschool Storytime GÇô Mondays, Nov. 4, 18 and 25, 11 a.m. Books, sing-along songs, and creative activities designed to prepare young minds for reading. For ages 2 to 5 years. Caregiver Required.
Teens:
NANOWRIMO Write-in GÇô Monday, Nov. 25, 3 to 5 p.m. Celebrate National Novel Writing Month by having Write-Ins with local authors at all Sno-Isle Libraries.Join-á Bernadette Pajer, author of the Professor Bradshaw Mystery Series, and other local writers to work on reaching your word count for the day. Our author will also be happy to answer questions, and even sign a book if you bring one.
All Ages:
Native American Flutist Peter Ali GÇô Saturday, Nov. 2, 2 p.m. Discover the ancestral song and story of the Native American flute in a performance by renowned flutist, Peter Ali. Refreshments will be supplied.
Adults:
Friends of Sultan Library GÇô Thursday, Nov. 21, 9:30 a.m. Join with other community members who work to enhance the local library through fundraisers including book sales, bake sales, and more.
