Monroe City Council holding hearing to transfer fire district property

The city of Monroe will hold a public hearing 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 20, in Council Chambers at City Hall, 806 W. Main St., in order to take feedback on the transference of property to Snohomish County Fire Protection District No. 3.

Monroe City Council will discuss two agreements on Sept. 20; one related to the voter-approved merger of Fire Districts 3 and 7, covering fire prevention and inspection services, while the other transfers district property to the county fire district.
