The 11th-annual Monroe Lip Sync is on Saturday, April 25, at 6 p.m., in the Wagner Performing Arts Center (WAC) on Main Street.
The Monroe Lip Sync is one of the best-attended musical performances in Monroe. It was moved from the high school to the WAC to accommodate the growing crowd. The Lip Sync is committed to providing a family-friendly evening of entertainment, while raising money for scholarships for Monroe graduates. To date, $22,000 has been given in scholarships. It's one of the city's largest scholarship contributors.
In addition to awarding scholarships, $540 in cash prizes are awarded to contestants. It's easy to be part of the show and registration is open! Tickets are available at the door and are still only $5. There is no other place in town where a family can enjoy a night together for less than $20 and know it goes to a good cause.
