Norma Elaine Wells-á (Foye), 93, born October 12, 1921,-á passed away peacefully on July 23, 2015, surrounded by family at the home in which she was born.-á Norma was a Washington State Pioneer.-á Her Foye Grandparents homesteaded land in the Tualco Valley in 1877 and the farm was recognized as a Snohomish County Centennial Farm in 2009.-á She was a 24 year member of the Tualco Grange, volunteered at the Sky Valley Food Bank and in the gift shop at Valley General Hospital (Evergreen Monroe).-á She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Bessie Foye; brothers, Elwyn, Marion, Harry and Glendon Foye; sisters, Jenny and Ina Lee Foye; and son Mark Wells. Norma is survived by sister, Rayma Birdsall (Richard) of Stanwood, WA; daughters, Leslie Jo Wells of Monroe, WA, Kimberly Thompson (James) of Manchester, TN, Denise Thornburg (Danny) of Bandon, OR, and son, Dana Wells of Monroe, WA.-á She had five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. A gathering for friends and family will be held on Sunday, August 2nd from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. at the family home at 18529 SR203, Monroe, WA 98272.-á Donations in the memory of Norma may be made to the Sky Valley Food Bank in Monroe, WA.
