PASADO'S PET OF THE WEEK: Caroline

Caroline is a female muscovy duck. She is unique in that she is extremely people-friendly. Visitors can walk right up to her and even pet her.

She spends most of her day preening her feathers and relaxing in the shade. She gets along very well with other ducks and would be a fine addition to most flocks. She, like most muscovies, tends to stick with her own breed. Muscovies hiss instead of quack , so they are very quiet, and they love to eat slugs ' a perfect companion for an avid gardener.-á
