PASADO'S PET OF THE WEEK: May

May is a sweet girl, but very shy around people. She will need a lot of patience and love as she learns to be comfortable around a new person. She's happy to play fetch and romp around with some male dogs, but is not interested in the company of female dogs. With any new dog friend, she will need a proper introduction as she is sometimes hit-or-miss with new dogs.

She is a graceful, slender dog who loves to go on walks and get familiar with her environment. She has lived in the caregiver office at our sanctuary before, where she calmly and quietly enjoyed watching the staff work.

May's ideal home would be one without children or female dogs, so she could have time to settle into a home environment. She gravitates toward women and tends to be more timid around men. She would also do very well with a friendly male dog in the household, to help her come out of her shell. A house with a fenced yard is strongly preferred.
