As the drivers are being introduced to the fans, the crew of pole sitter Campbell Motor Sports #43, driven by Derek Thorn, make sure the tires are set and the windshield is clean. Thorn qualified with a time of 00.21.764 and led every lap to win from the pole in the Evergreen Speedway NASCAR Summer Showdown 200 lap main event. Thorn, 30 from Lakeport, California, has been racing for 20 years.Pole sitter Derek Thorn leads the pack out of turn 4 headed to the start line of the Evergreen Speedway Summer Showdown 200 lap main event.
