Police Blotter: June 8-15

Friday, June 8

5:59 p.m. — Police cited a man for theft after he allegedly stole socks from a store in the 18900 block of State Route 2.

8:37 p.m. — Police cited a man for driving while intoxicated in the 19000 block of Tjerne Place Southeast. His vehicle was impounded.

Saturday, June 9

2:12 a.m. — Police arrested a man for assault in the 15500 block of 173rd Avenue Southeast.

Sunday, June 10

5:53 p.m. — Police cited a man for third-degree theft in the 19100 block of North Kelsey Street.

6:31 p.m. — Police responded to an assault report in the 16600 block 177th Avenue Southeast, and determined the altercation was over a television show.

8:34 p.m. — Police arrested a woman for third-degree theft in the 19100 block of North Kelsey Street.

Monday, June 11

7:20 a.m. — The “M” in the Monroe High School parking lot was reported painted purple.

4:56 p.m. — Police arrested a woman for driving with a suspended license in the 17000 block of Marmount Street Southeast. Her vehicle was impounded.

Tuesday, June 12

3:03 p.m. — Ashtrays and carpet pieces were reported stolen in the 19500 block of State Route 2.

3:49 p.m. — Police arrested a man on outstanding warrants in the 13800 block of Chain Lake Road, and also cited him for malicious mischief.

Wednesday, June 13

8:32 a.m. — Police arrested a man for possession of a stolen vehicle after a traffic stop in the 19300 block of Tjerne Place Southeast. The vehicle was reported stolen out of Oregon on June 11.

1:33 p.m. — Police arrested a man for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) and malicious mischief in the 14900 block of Chain Lake Road.

4:19 p.m. — Multiple vehicles were struck in a hit-and-run in the 400 block of Butler Street. A suspect was arrested, and was possibly facing a DUI charge pending the results of a blood test.

Thursday, June 14

2:42 a.m. — A bag full of drugs and paraphernalia was reported left on the steps of an apartment in the 18400 block of Blueberry Lane Southeast.

7:55 p.m. — Police arrested a man on a fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) charge in the 18000 block of 154th Street Southeast.

Friday, June 15

12:57 a.m. — Police arrested a woman for DUI and driving with a suspended license at North Kelsey and Elizabeth streets.

12:58 a.m. — An intoxicated man was found lying next to the railroad tracks at 179th Avenue Southeast and State Route 2. Officers transported him to his residence.
