Rebecca Lynn Finney, born October 16, 1955 in Salem, OR, passed away on July 13, 2015 at home with her family at her side in Index, WA. -áRebecca co-owned and operated the Mt. Index Caf+¬ from 1983-2001. -áShe later managed the Gold Bar Restaurant and Lounge. Rebecca was an active member of the Index Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary From 2000-2011. She was elected to Fire Commissioner in November of 2010 and served as commissioner from 2011 until she passed. -áRebecca enjoyed gardening, sewing, baking, boating, and spending time with her loving family. -áShe is survived by her husband, Scott M. Finney, daughter Katie Shrock (Scott, Jr.) of Monroe, Ryan Finney (Katie) of Sultan, her mother Shirley Gullickson, siblings Deborah Hamann, Marilou Balloun, Renee Turner, Denise Balloun, Stanley Balloun, grandchildren McKayla Shrock, Ian Shrock, Cara Finney, and Alexis Shrock. -áShe was preceded in death by Myron Balloun. -áRebecca was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. -áA funeral service celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at 12:00pm at Purdy & Kerr with Dawson Funeral Home, 409 W.
