Robert Anthony Giuliano was born in Newark, New Jersey on July 8, 1951. His father was full Italian and his mother was full Irish. His twin sister, Rosemarie, lives locally, as does his brother, John. He attended parochial school until college and was an excellent student and an award-winning fencing team member.
Bob graduated from the University of Washington in 1975, then earned a Master’s Degree at EWU. He worked for DSHS. Thirty years later, he returned to the UW for a Teaching Certificate. He taught at Peaceful Glen Christian School. After retiring to Monroe, he worked part-time as a substitute teacher and an AVID tutor.
Bob was a long-time Christian church member. He was a loving son, sibling, uncle, husband, father, and friend. We will all miss him greatly. A Memorial Service will be held at 4pm on Sunday, August 20th at the Monroe United Methodist Church, 342 S. Lewis St., Monroe, WA 98272.
