Rogers wins award for musicianship

Daniel Colby Rogers finished his school year and career with a flourish when Sultan music teacher-áJill Sumpter presented him with the John Philip Sousa Award for outstanding musicianship, given to no more than one student per high school each year.

Tuesday, June 3, at the final concert of the year, Sumpter presented the senior with the award, which also recognizes dependability, loyalty and cooperation.
