Fabulous Finds Thrift Shop, inside the East County Senior Center, has pledged 100 percent of April sales to go to relief for the survivors of the Oso mudslide.
Disasters do two things; they make us look at who we are, and they remind us that we are a world family-each responsible for the wellbeing of the other.
The Oso mudslide, as devastating as it was, began a number of important conversations, one of which is how to aid our neighbors.
In response to one such conversation, the ECSC has decided that each purchase at the center thrift shop will provide much-needed money to further the recovery.
