By Brandon Macz

The Snohomish County Auto Theft Task Force reports a man with ties to Monroe is suspected of at least two robberies and four vehicle thefts going back to early August.

SNOCAT is asking the public for assistance locating 34-year-old Jeremy Hill, who is suspected of stealing a Subaru in the 10500 block of Aurora Avenue North in Seattle with a female accomplice on Aug. 8.

The following day he and two other suspects allegedly stole a Toyota Highlander in the 13200 block of Bothell-Everett Highway while it was running; the owner had been delivering a box to a donation bin in the parking lot, according to a SNOCAT news release.

Hill allegedly stole a Ford Explorer in the 19500 block of Highway 2 in Monroe on Aug. 13, and then reportedly stole a construction truck in the 12400 block of 116th Avenue Northeast in Kirkland, according to the release. In that case, the owner attempted to grab Hill through the driver’s side window, but fell and “sustained significant injuries” that required them to be transported to Harborview Medical Center, the release states.

SNOCAT reports Hill is a convicted felon, and has a felony warrant out of Seattle, as well as misdemeanor warrants for possession of vehicle theft tools and first-degree driving on a suspended license. Detectives have probable cause to arrest Hill for first-degree robbery and two counts of theft of motor vehicle, according to the release.

He is 5-foot-9-inches tall, around 210 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information regarding Hill or his whereabouts is asked to call the sheriff’s office’s anonymous tip line at 425-388-3845.
