| The Monroe/Sky Valley Family YMCA presents the 6th Annual Sky Valley Classic on Saturday, Oct. 25 at 9 a.m. There will be a 10K, 5K, or 1-mile route through the City of Monroe, the Sky Valley and Al Borlin Parks. |
| The starting area will be on Main Street near Lewis Street in Monroe. Early registration will continue through Oct. 15, with regular registration through Oct. 25. Register online or at any YMCA of Snohomish County family branch. There will be awards for top racers in the 10K and 5K races. There will also be a costume contest. The 5K and 1-mile races are dog and stroller friendly Race fees start at only $25. Youth participants "pay your age.GÇ¥ |
| Proceeds from the race benefit the YMCA Minority Achievers Program (MAP). MAP's mission is to motivate and support students of color and immigrant students ages 11-19 to achieve higher educational and career goals. MAP is a free program.
