Small bats and small faces -á


Barbara Ogaard of Bats Northwest gave a presentation that included live bats at the Monroe Sno-Isle Library on Saturday morning, May 10, in Monroe.
The well-attended talk focused on all the good that bats do such as getting rid of agriculture pests and pollinating plants in the Northwest.
Ogaard talked -áabout bat-house plans, rabies facts, and why you should not touch a bat found on the ground.
This bat is opening its mouth to "echo locate,GÇ¥ to try and find out where it is located. More bat facts are found at www.batsnorthwest.org.
