Winter Extravaganza, Candy Experiments: Friday, Dec. 20, 3 p.m.-áBlow up candy; melt it into bubbling puddles; find the secret ingredients. Based on the book by Loralee Leavitt. For school-age children.
Reading with Rover: Saturday, Dec. 28, 11 a.m. The Reading with Rover program is designed to help kids strengthen reading skills and improve reading confidence.
Teen Programs:
Monroe Library Teen Advisory Board: Tuesday, Dec. 3, 3:30 p.m.-áEnjoy some snacks, and share ideas for library programs, purchases and improvements while earning volunteer credit.
Junior Monroe Wednesday Writers: Wednesdays, Dec. 4 and 18, 4:30 p.m. Support and guidance for teen writers. All writers in grades 6-12 are welcome.
Gingerbread Houses: Tuesday, Dec. 10, 3 p.m. Design and build a gingerbread house while working with other teens. Discover information about other holiday crafts.
