Snohomish County PUD reminding residents about energy assistance programs

The Snohomish County Public Utility District is reminding residents about its energy assistance programs for senior and low-income customers. The program currently provides 20-, 30- and 60-percent reductions for electric and water bills, based on the income level of participating customers.

The low-income discount is available to PUD customers with a household income below 125 percent of the federal poverty level, which is $30,313 for a family of four. Seniors ' 62 and above ' are eligible for a discount if their combined disposable income is less than $28, 264.
